If I call a provider listed in the network, will they be familiar with Empyrean?
That's a great question! Because doctors and other providers have contracted with a number of networks, they may not always be familiar with the procedures of a specific network. Also, most providers will not be familiar with the Empyrean name because they have contracted with the Galaxy Network, not with Empyrean. Always refer to the discount program as participating with the Galaxy Network; it will avoid confusion at the doctor's office. On the back of your Member ID card, there are special numbers to call for all the great companies that provide the savings plans to our members. Or if you need help, just call Empyrean's customer service. If you have a question about a provider being in the network and accepting your health savings membership card, Empyrean is there to help.
